Good bye Jack Kemp

Another Bills heartbreak. Goodbye Jack thanks for the memories. I would watch Jack Kemp practice at SUNY fredonia when I was younger, I especially like the fact that the players always made time for the fans, I will always remember meeting some of the greats in bills history.

On January 7, 2009, Kemp's office issued a statement announcing that he was battling cancer; the type of cancer and the anticipated treatment were not announced. His diagnosis and prognosis were never publicly disclosed. However, he continued to serve as chairman of his Washington-based Kemp Partners consulting firm and continued his involvement in charitable and political work until his death.
On May 2, 2009, Kemp died at his home in Bethesda, Maryland from cancer; he was 73.President Barack Obama praised Kemp's work on race, adding that Kemp understood that divisions involving race and class stood in the way of the country's common goals.Former President George W. Bush said that Kemp "will be remembered for his significant contributions to the Reagan revolution and his steadfast dedication to conservative principles during his long and distinguished career in public service."

# 32 Gets 15 Years

In Clark County court today, the 61-year-old former Buffalo Bills running back apologized, tearfully, to Glass. He said he had no intention of hurting his victim, and that he had only wanted to reclaim his property. He also admitted that he went about it the wrong way.
Judge Glass didn't buy it though, saying that Simpson was doing more than just "taking his stuff back." Before handing down her sentence she admonished Simpson, saying there was much more than stupidity behind his actions

Simpson will be eligible for parole in five on the kidnapping count, but with addition concurrent sentences it is unlikely he will serve fewer than 10 years.

Toronto

I can honestly say I am not looking forward to seeing the Bills play in Toronto. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they would open the dome. That has always been something in our favor the cold, especially when the fish come to town. Well we will see how it turns out.......

Passing of Edward Samuel "Ted" Rogers, Jr

Statement from Ralph Wilson “I was deeply saddened this morning when I heard the news of the passing of Ted Rogers. Ted was a true visionary and a giant in the communications field. Obviously, he played an integral part in the Bills Toronto Series and it makes me very sad that he won’t be here to share in the historic game with us this weekend in the building that bears his name. He will be missed by many, many people for a very long time. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and friends.”

Rogers suffered from congestive heart failure and died overnight on December 2, 2008, at his home in Toronto.

Rogers had been the owner of the Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball team since September 1, 2000, when Rogers Communications Inc. purchased 80% of the baseball club with the Labatt Brewing Company Ltd. maintaining 20% interest and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce relinquishing its 10% share. Since the 2003 season, he owned 100% of the team. Moreover, the Blue Jays' home ballpark, SkyDome, was renamed Rogers Centre after Rogers' firm purchased the stadium (including naming rights).

Unbelievable

I can not believe that some of these player get paid millions of dollars a year and they can't catch the ball, or miss two field goals in a row. What does it have to take for us to have another really good team.

Week 13

As we all look forward to the game on sunday against the 49ers one thing is sure San Francisco running back Frank Gore is a threat that the Bills know must be stopped. As long as we do not have turn overs or interceptions we will leave with another W.
